New York Pageant Prep Workshop
When: July 10th, 2021 @ 4:30pm – 7:30pm

During this workshop, Michelle will teach the on-stage walk and stance, provide expert assistance on how to complete the interview, production forms, and give guidance on how to present the best version of yourself during on-stage and in-person interviews. You will gain insight about pageant weekend, learn insider tips and tricks, and get answers to any pageant-related questions.
New York Walking Workshop

During this workshop, Michelle will focus on helping you with the on-stage walk and stance for the evening gown, active wear, and swimsuit competitions. This is an opportunity to practice and perfect your runway walk and pageant stance while receiving instruction and guidance from Michelle. You will learn to convey elegance, poise, and confidence on-stage.

EXPERIENCE MATTERS
Michelle became involved in the pageant industry in 1995 when she prepared her sister, Nichole Holmes to compete in the Miss USA® organization. Nichole won her state title and placed 1st runner up at the 1995 Miss USA® pageant. Michelle’s second client, Autumn Waterbury won her state title and placed 1st runner up at the 1998 Miss Teen USA® pageant. Since then Michelle has prepared contestants for the stages of Miss USA®, Miss Teen USA®, and Miss America. She has had numerous top 15, top 10, and top 5 placements. She guided Nana Meriwether all the way to the Miss USA® crown in 2012.
Michelle is involved in every aspect of pageantry. She has judged pageants across the country, including the Miss and Teen state levels in the USA system. She has gone international by helping prepare a Miss Sweden for the Miss Universe® stage. Michelle has worked with D&D Investments, Inc. since 2002 and was the official consultant for Miss Illinois USA® and Miss Illinois Teen USA® for 12 years. Currently Michelle is the official consultant for Miss New York USA®, Miss New York Teen USA®, Miss Maryland USA®, Miss Maryland Teen USA®, Miss Universe Denmark®, and Miss Illinois® and the owner of The Pageant Room and Joyce’s Boutique, Illinois’ finest full service pageant, prom and bridal boutique.
Michelle understands the competition from one pageant system to another and can adjust your preparation depending on your age and individual needs. Michelle offers consulting sessions on location at The Pageant Room or via Skype or Face Time. She also travels to New York and Maryland to offer consulting sessions and workshops at scheduled times throughout the year.
