“I had the opportunity to work with Michelle Holmes in preparation for Miss Maryland Teen USA, which was my very first pageant. The first year I competed I placed first-runnerup, and this year I won the title! From our first Skype session, I knew she was the coach for me. Michelle is not just a coach who specializes in one area of pageantry, she is an expert in all areas you can think of, even mental preparation. She worked with me extensively on my paper work, and perfected my interview skills. She cleaned up my runway walk and gave me little tips and tricks to stand out on stage, all while keeping me looking confident and very natural. She also made sure my wardrobe was absolutely perfect, and was always there when I needed guidance. Michelle is not just a coach, she is a mentor. She is such a positive and encouraging person. She truly made me believe I could win, and I think because of her confidence in me, I did just that. Michelle has become a great friend of mine and I am so glad I chose to work with her.
